Turkish Riviera offers perfect weather conditions in winter for Professional football training camps.
First class international football teams from Europe have stayed in Antalya and exercised on its football fields for years.
The main reason why Antalya is preferred this much is the high quality service and that the climate is suitable for European teams, whose countries are mainly covered in snow at this time of year. The average temperature in Antalya is 12 degrees in December, 11 in January, 13 in February and 17 degrees in March. This is considered as an ideal temperature for the football trainings.
In summer, the province’s luxurious beach resorts attract leisure tourism, but in winter they host between 1,000 and 3,000 football teams seeking choice accommodation and favorable conditions. Some of the resorts also maintain their own football pitches. In total, the province maintains more than 400 football pitches, and continues to develop more to encourage the trend.
The food prepared by top hotel chefs who have been educated at the international level is the reason why the teams prefer this region. Galatasaray, Fenerbahce, FC Brugge, Spartak Moscow, Stuttgart and many famous football teams have become a part of Antalya.
